Terms of Use — Mashy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
By using Mashy you agree to these terms.
1. Drive safely first
Don't handle your phone while driving. Set your destination before you leave, use the car screen, or ask a passenger.
Traffic laws, road signs and traffic police always take precedence over the app's guidance.
Road, traffic, speed-limit and report information is approximate and may be inaccurate or outdated; you are responsible for your driving decisions.
2. Content and conduct: no tolerance for abuse
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. False, abusive, obscene or inciting content, threats and harassment are not allowed anywhere: reports, reviews, car listings, business details or taxi ride messages.
Only report real events you witnessed, and don't post anything about specific people.
In the app you can report any review, car listing or ride, and block any user so you no longer see their content and they can't contact you.
We act on reports within 24 hours: we remove the content and suspend the account that posted it.
By adding content (reports, reviews, photos, business details) you grant us a non-exclusive license to show it in the service.
3. Businesses
Business details must be accurate and yours to publish. Every addition or change is reviewed and may be rejected or suspended.
4. Car market
Offer only a car you own or may sell, with its real photos and price.
Mashy is not a party to the sale: the deal, the payment and the transfer of ownership at the traffic directorate are up to the seller and the buyer. Don't send any money before you've seen the car.
We may remove listings that break these rules or are reported.
5. Maps and ads
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the ODbL.
The app may show ads; we are not responsible for advertisers' content or products.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any accident, delay or damage resulting from using the app or relying on its information.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continuing to use the app means you accept the updated version.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq.
The same text is in the app.
