Is Mashy free?
Yes, the app is free. You only pay the taxi fare if you order a ride, in cash to the captain.
Does it work everywhere in Iraq?
Maps and navigation cover every governorate. Taxis depend on captains online near you.
How does Mashy know the traffic?
From the speeds of drivers who turned on “Share traffic data”, without their names or numbers. The more users, the more accurate it gets.
Is there an iPhone version?
Yes: Mashy is on the App Store for iPhone, and on Google Play for Android.
Does it work on my car’s screen?
Yes, Mashy supports Android Auto.
How do I become a captain?
In the app, choose “Become a captain” and photograph your national ID, driving license and car registration. We review it and let you know.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account → Delete account. The account stops immediately; the details are in the privacy policy.
